The Gibraltar Disability Society worked with Benji Borastero to organise a static Wheelchair Marathon at the Piazza to mark International Day of Disabled Persons.
The Marathon’s aim was to raise awareness and give a little insight in to the lives of wheelchair users, and thanks to sponsors and public donations on the day, managed to raise £3082.66 for Little Smiles.
His Worship the Mayor, Mr Christian Santos GMD was honoured to be invited to participate for a short while in an event which he felt was truly remarkable and worthwhile.
