His Worship the Mayor, Mr Christian Santos GMD welcomed children from St Paul’s School Choir to City Hall. The choir presented His Worship with a gift as a thank you for attending the school’s 40th Anniversary show and unveiling a plaque. As a past student, and having been in the first intake of the school when it opened 40 years ago, His Worship was honoured to take part in the festivities.
The choir entertained His Worship with another performance at City Hall, which he described as ‘joyous’. The children were chaperoned by music teacher Cathy Batchelor, Deputy Head Teacher Genevieve Vinet and Head Teacher Jerry Aguilera. His Worship praised them, and all the teachers at St Paul’s for the exemplary behaviour of their students and the great work they are doing at the school.
