His Worship the Mayor, Mr Christian Santos GMD was invited on a tour by local primatologist Brian Gomila from Monkey Talk Gibraltar. It was an educational, non-intrusive outing which allowed the macaques to be observed as part of the wildlife, where we could learn all about their social behaviours.
His Worship commented it is no wonder the macaques are one of our national treasures and he was extremely pleased to learn so much more about these animals we share our Rock with.
