Her Worship the Mayor, Ms Carmen Gomez GMD opened the World Day of Peace event held yesterday at Inces Hall where she delivered a speech on what peace means to her. In her very personal and honest speech Her Worship remarked how with time she came to find her inner peace, stemming from the love she received in the heart of the family, an inner peace she strives to transmit to others; a peace that is also enriched through prayer which calms a troubled heart. The speech was very well received by all present.
