The Gibraltar Heritage Trust 33rd Annual Painting Competition saw the City Hall as its theme.
The City Hall and John Mackintosh Square became the base for numerous artists throughout the day who had between 9am and 5pm on 7th May 2022 to complete their entries for the competition.
Artists depicted various scenes in and around the building, to include the façade from differing angles, stairways and corridors inside, and aspects of the Mayor’s Parlour and Piano Room.
His Worship the Mayor, Mr Christian Santos GMD was delighted the historic and landmark City Hall was the subject of the competition and looks forward to viewing the finished paintings in due course.
