His Worship the Mayor, Mr Christian Santos GMD was honoured to open the Memory Walk for the second year running.
The walk is organised by the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society (GADS) to coincide with World Alzheimer’s and Dementia Day.
His Excellency the Governor Vice Admiral Sir David Steele and The Chief Minister, The Hon Fabian Picardo joined the large crowd gathered in John Mackintosh Square in front of City Hall to support this great cause, with The Chief Minister saying a few words ahead of the start of the walk.
His Worship started by thanking Chairperson Daphne Alcantara for all the work GADS do throughout the year to bring awareness about the cause before declaring the walk open.
