The Honorary Freedom of the City of Gibraltar was bestowed upon The Hon Adolfo Canepa CMG OBE GMH, as unanimously approved at the Session of Parliament held on 21st February 2020.
The ceremony will took place at John Mackintosh Square on Tuesday 25th May 2021 at 6.30pm. The Conferment was be carried out by His Worship the Mayor of Gibraltar, Mr John Gonçalves MBE GMD.
Following the Ceremony a reception took place in the Mayor’s Parlour where the Chief Minister, The Hon Fabian Picardo QC MP, addressed the recipient and guests, thereafter presenting Adolfo Canepa with the Keys of Gibraltar and a framed Freedom Scroll.
