Her Worship the Mayor, Ms Carmen Gomez GMD laid wreaths at the Armistice and Remembrance Sunday Ceremonies.
The Armistice Day Ceremony was held at the Lobby of Parliament House on Saturday 11th November and was organised by the Mayor’s Office. Guests of honour included His Excellency the Governor, Vice Admiral Sir David Steel KBE DL and The Chief Minister, The Hon Fabian Picardo KC MP.
The Remembrance Sunday Ceremony was held at the British War Memorial on Sunday 12th November, and other than senior and other wreath layers, a large contingent of serving Armed Forces personnel and veterans were also present on this special day.
